WITH SO MANY WICKED-GNARLY FOLLOWERS, AND SO MANY TOTALLY RADICAL POSTS, DO YOU GET STOKED TO CHECK WHICH OF YOUR BODACIOUS-BEAUS AND DYNAMITE-DUDES LASER-LIKE YOUR PARTY-POSTS?

There are these moments where I am going through my likes to see what I can reblog, and I think “who is going to like that?” and then I am all “well Nick, you liked it.” Then someone else likes it and I don’t think I’m crazy. Those are fun.

When I post something that I find really neat that is a little obscure, like some Grim Fandango fan art, and someone likes it, it says to me that there are others out there like me. Those likes are really cool.

I would say I have room for about 200 of my followers in my brain, including the Tumblrs I know from real life. I am pretty sure I would recognize any of the 7,637 posts that have been on this blog because something within me had to approve of them in some way. As these people continue to like my posts I kinda build up an audience personality in my head. This allows me to cater to your desires a bit better, though I do mostly just post things I enjoy or think you should be enjoying.

Basically every “like” I get is a sign of approval, not only of my blog but of our friendship. If you push good content, and get positive reactions it is affirming. I read EVERY reblog I get, and my favorite is awesome questions like these.
